cool, thanks alot man
and if you look hard enough you can find some real good condition seats for decent prices, I mean Recaro SRDs usually are what, like 600 bucks each, im picking up mine off a local forum for 400 bucks........ and the best part is that he just happens to live in the same city as I do

So, since no one asked the question, I will. If you're installing racing seats with harnesses, why do you want stock belts? Just wondering

I think he meant 270 for sliders and rails, and at that point id HOPE it was for the pair and not single.. right now im looking at around 100 bucks for a complete Sparco setup (SParco sliders and sparco seat base for Accord) on the seat im picking up, yes it only one........ its all I can afford

Racing harnesses are not good choices for street cars for a couple possible reasons.
1) If you are strapped in tight enough to be protected, you won't be able to easily reach around and grab cd's etc..
2) You need a rollbar with a bar that crosses behind the seat to secure the upper shoulder straps. If you bolt them to the floor you can end up with a broken back in an accident.
3) Your airbag will serve NO purpose when you are belted in that tight, and no longer be a safety feature.
Knowing these things, feel free to run a harness. I just wanted to make sure you guys are making an educated decision.

like I said, ill run the harness for fun days, while still using the stocker for my daily driving commutes and what not
the shoulder straps are OK if its within a certain angle of straight, when I last ran a harness I ran it to the rear seatbelt anchors, it was fine, and still MUCH better than those idiot kids that bolt it straight to the floor......... the only hard thing was where to mount the right lap belt, the left one went to the front seatbelt anchor, but where for the right..... well, Ill cross that bridge when I get to it

I was more posting that for the noobs that may just end up bolting the harness to the floor. Sounds like a pretty good plan.

wow full race ehh?. and for the 240 guy, the air bag wont help anyway. i have a quick release, which has no air bag. and the harness is much safer cuhz if you get hit you'll barely budge, esp with a racing seat!

lol. i got a 2008 SSM honda fit. i was able to take some of my old parts ( shift knob, rad cap, hyper ground) from the cl. and i sold my HID to pick up a new set for the fit. its nothing fast, but parts come so much easier than the cl, and maybe in a couple years do a k20.. but for now its all looks =)
