NEW PICS - TYPE W SIDE SKIRTS
put the type w skirts on yesterday. i think they look awesome. still keeps the car with a classy look, not much design to them, and really makes it lower! now i am going to take my spare airdam and cut it apart to extend the one on my car to even out the sides. now the rear, that is different.
i also posted a pic of the airdam for those who want to see it on another car besides the wings west one. enjoy!

Arent those "Type W" side skirts just the factory ones painted? I had my car repainted along with the factory body molding/side skirts and it looks EXACTLY like yours....

the type w skirts are nothing like the factory ones! they are twice as low as the factory, and have a different mold to them. they make the car look at least 2 inches lower on the sides.

Are those skirts from a 97 accord application (TL maybe?)? 2 or 4 door? Any rigging required for applying to a CL?
Got any pics with the skirts and the air dam in the same view. Trying to see how they look together.

Hey what did you use to paint your air damn? Dont know if its just me or what but the air damn doesn't look like it matches the car. Looks like it is a flat black instead of a glossy black.

Looks like the sides are not even with the rest of the car. The back is way to high compared with the sides. I think the stock ones look better IMO. But then again that is just my opinion. Overall I dont like!

well, everything is uneven right now... it is in the building stage.
the airdam and the side skirts are both unpainted, they will be painted next spring when the entire car gets painted.
the airdam is about 1-2 inches higher than the skirts. i have another airdam that is getting modified to fit underneath the one on the car to even out with the skirts.
as far a as evening out the rear bumper, that be a huge mod job, with a concerted effort from everyone in the neighborhood, but it will be original and nobody else will have it, just like the front bumper mod we are doing.
thanks for all the input, i appreciate it.

actually, i pulled factory side skirts from an accord for a 4 door out of a junkyard. i took them home to see how they matched... exactly the same.
this way i new the 4 doors were the same as ours, and i figured the 2 doors were as well, but when i ordered them i just got the 4 doors to be safe because i new they were the same.
however, the type w side skirts fit over the factory skirts, like the airdam, which my dumbass didnt realize when i ordered them.
so i had to mod the skirts a little to fit, but no harm done. if anyone uses the 2 doors let me know if they fit perfectly. thanks!

one more question roooster...
where does the top of the rear bumper connect to the car? i want the new bumper piece to start at the bottom of the factory bumper that sticks out the farthest from the car... know what i mean? i dont want to put the type w bumper on if it attaches on the very bottom of the bumper where it starts to go back in. get it?? let me know, and thanks!
