New mods!! I ordered the blue leds for the gauges and the hid ballasts with 6000k bulbs from ebay, and started work on the interior..im covering all of the woodgrain pieces in black vinyl ...and yes, i broke the hell out of the center piece trying to get it out the first time, it was in 4 pieces but super glue worked just fine. I also have an ss header, short ram intake, and carbon fiber m3 power mirrors on the way so plenty more to come =)

 

looks good bro, on my 1st gen i did the gauges as well, but blacked out where the mileage is (u can see it in the daytime) and at night it looked alot cleaner

FYI: I've seen some of the carbon fiber ebay "m3" mirrors in person. Just a heads up to check the mirror itself... the ones I have seen are cheap plastic and convex, can be irritating to view.

 

Not a fan of the black vinyl, really makes the interior look cheap and accord-ish. If I were you, and if you reeeally hate the wood that much, I'd paint the interior panels whatever color you like. A little more custom and color matching imo. Good work though, keep it up.

 

Its not that i hate the wood im just trying to stick with a common color scheme and imo vinyl is more "classy" then a can of $5 spray paint =/.. i guess fake plastic wood grain is the definition of luxury!

looks nice. personally i like the look of the wood more, but mine's also a 99 and the center console is all wood too.
