hey brandon - I have Dunlop sp8000s 225-50 on 98' stocks.. they area hard composit tire so they hold great in turns and everyday handling... They also buldge alittle for great effect on the cars look!

I'd personally recommend the Toyo Proxes FZ4's. All weather, Superior grip, decent price, and a aggresive look I just can't describe. Make sure to take a look at these tires. If you did have money or happen to find some go for the Toyo T1-S. Hope this helps.

Hey welcome to the Club! I have yokohama parada's on my car and I love them. Great in wet conditions.
Hey heres a free mod that you can do to your car if you haven't already. Take out your air silencer. Your car will sound like it has an intake. I posted some instructions but for some reason I cant find it. Maybe on of the moderators can.

Wow, all this talk bout tires and stuff... funny thing is that I still have my original set on my car still from day one! Hahaha! I asked the dealer if I needed new ones and they said no so I guess I'll keep on rolling them. Hmmm... maybe if I actually put more miles on my car I'd have the same dillema. Gosh, everyone elses cars have so many mods to them... I'm one of the very few stock peeps. Well, just thought I'd poke my two sense in. Laters guys... -Kelly

Yeppers, my baby is allll original. I took a pic of the odometer today when I washed the car so if you want, go look at my pics and you can see the mileage reading. Hmm... is it just me or do I sense a little bit of a flirtiness b/w Angel and Casper? Is it just me or am I missing something here? Anyhow, back the the CL, yeah, I get that reaction a lot when people find out how many miles are on it. Honestly, I still get people asking me if it's brand new. Funny thing is, one day even a fellow Acura owner (he drove a 2.5TL) asked if it was "the new one w/ the NAV system." I couldn't help but laugh and feel happy that my meticulous efforts weren't going unnoticed. Anyway, like I said, I just put some new pics on my photo page. So, TTYL guys! -Kell

You're not the only one with a stock CL, Maui!
And for tires, I've been VERY happy with my Pirelli P6000 Sport Veloces. I ran Pirellis on my old Integra GS-R and also have P-Zeros on my M Roadster. They're cheaper than Yokohama, Toyo, etc. but (on paper, at least) outperform and outlast them. They sure work for me!

Sorry! Pirelli is the brand name, and like all tire manufacturers, they have a bunch of different styles. The ones I found provided the best performance to price ratio were the P6000 Sport Veloce.
Thanks for the compliments on my choice of car color. I actually wanted Firepepper Red, but the dealer had the Primrose Mist on the lot and was willing to deal on it. I would have loved your color, too, except it wasn't offered on the 3.0 in '98!
And it's nice to have a new member on the board who hasn't modified their car. I like my CL just the way it is, but I'm in the minority around here!

Actually, BBank and I have the same color, it's called Iced Blue Metallic. We're not sure what Angel's color is called b/c they changed it from '97 to '98. They're working on that in another thread.
Anyway, welcome to the board BBank!!
