Hey, just got me a '98 3.0 CL and I am looking to make a few changes to it, more or less upgrades and modifications for both Audio and Performance. My budget is limited initially to $1500 - $2000 per upgrade, due to my other pet project - My '94 Ford Probe GT, which I am blowing $5000 into to gass that baby up to run with the shitty little Civics, Focus', Neons, WRX's, and Integras of the streets.

I spent a year in Cali, LA to be exact, so I know how y'all bounce and sway out west - The Probe gets that styling and mods.

I want my CL to retain the initial look, but be a sleeper in the streets and in the cockpit with some noise - oh yeah, I'm a straight up BASSHEAD, so don't hold back on the audio.

Any suggestions would be nice and greatly appreciated

Possible Turbo or Supercharger - if I can find me a fool to install it.

Welcome to the board. I would invest money in the CL but whatever. OH speeding thru school zones Oh what am i saying i got pulled for 35 in a 20 school zone by a cop on a motorcycle not ticket though

after that there's headers (about 18 whp) an Intake (CAI - around 8-10hp), pulleys, V-AFC, exhaust, etc. That's all I can think of now. Just make sure you upgrade the tranny to handle all of that power if you go with the supercharger.....

BTW, the guy above who posted welcome (rmstoico), he would be the man to get some upgrades through considering he's working mainly on the CL. Good luck.....

I can't wait to see the picture of a SC for the CL. If it fits, I must get it! Since you are the man, I'll pick your brain froim time to time, especially since your up in PA.

Any road shows or clubs in the area - I mean within reason and about 200 miles. I wouldn't mind seeing some other rides and getting some ideas to ponder the final outcome of "Dragginslayer2"

Pricing parts as we read, any places to get parts other than Autocarparts.com?

Go with an intake and an exhaust. They're one of the cheapest ways for a pretty good amount of HP boost. But since you got $1500-2000 to play with, you might even have enough for headers afterwards.

Hey if you or any one else are interested I have a set of Focal R3 rims for sale, 18x7 silver. They retail for 1200 with out tires. I will sell mine for 800 with tires. They are less than one year old and I need the money for a new computer.

If you want huge amount of bass, you will love the IDMAX's...the competition line of Image Dynamics similar to the ones i run...Those are for bass they handle peak power of 2000 watts and 1000 watts of continuous power...they hit hard as hell...there are other options but those have humongous magnets its crazy...other than stereo stuff get NOS
