i dont know if the 2.2/2.3 brakes are diff. but i finished in 30 minutes including jaking up the car and want not. i dont see why shops /dealers charge so much. i can see cutting the rotors will take extra time but acura wanted to charge me 172 to do what i just did in 30 minutes. i paid 200 for the rotors and pads and did not want to spend any more. all you need, tools wise if you are putting on brand new pads and rotors are:

jack
rachet (turny clicky thing) or wrench
c clamp to compress the piston
phillips screw driver
brake parts cleaner or any other cleaner

it was easy, but i used to do all of my repairs on past cars so i have some knowledge in these things. but i think anybody could do this.

brakes...

Yes, brakes are easy as shit to do... I bought some Cross Drill Rotors for $135 & Brake Pads from Acura (dont use after market pads) wholesale for $45 & it took me about an hour & a half to do the whole car.... Now I just gotta paint those ugly calipers... anyone seen that stencil kit for them??? It is a small stencil of A C U R A so that once you paint it what ever color.... you can paint a different color with the stencil.. i am doing it as soon as I get the time.. I will post pics when complete.... peace out.
