I just joined the community today. I just got my CL today as well, but here is the issue: An old friend of mine passed away due to an OD. He drove a 97 3.0 and was willed to his parents. They hated the thing and sold it to me for $600 after the funeral. He thrashed this thing. I am going to fix it up and make it into what it should be. Here is what Is wrong with it. I bought it as is

170,530 Miles
Check Engine Light
SRS Light
Torn Driver seat leather
No weather stripping in windows
Speaker panel falls off
Trash EVERY where in car
Cigarettes in ash tray and car reeks of smoke
Cracked windshield
Dented passenger fender
Dented and rusted hood
Bumper lenses smashed
Both bumpers scratched up and beat up
Radiator Dented
GHETTO rigged intake
Scratched up looks keyed
No Axel-Back
Pulls right
negative cambered
And more

I am working to get it fixed up as we speak. I live in Sacramento (Rancho Cordova to be Exact). It seems that parts for this car are hard to come by. I am looking for

CF Hood
Body Kits
CF Fenders or Light Fenders
A pillar gauge cluster
Anthig else I can find

I Already ordered Coilovers, shocks and an actual intake

Looks like you got your work cut out for ya. Good luck with the project. Unfortunately our cars were basically ignored by aftermarket companies so most of your work will probably have to be custom or DIY. Factory HP:200 Tq:195

that about describes my car to . . .cept i got 186,00 miles . . .but i know exactly why my lights are on . .. .not enough to fix em right now. . .

go to autozne and have them scan the codes.. its free. its prolly for the egr valve.

make sure you get a tranny cooler for the tranny, and change the fluid, do not flush just change.

the srs light has a certain way it has to be reset, search for it,

if you can see the dent in the front of the radiator, then its not the radiator, its the condensor for the a/c. if the a/c works dont fuck with it.

if you lived in florida, and had full coverage you could get the windshield replaced for free. with no penelties from your insurance company.

sounds like you got a pretty good deal on the whip, besides the circumstances.

ok i just looked at the vid.. yea dont fuck with that a/c condensor if the a/c works.. and loose the vtec stickers.
