New CL owner
Hey everyone!
I'm finally an Acura CL owner! Got my '99 a few weeks ago--it's a 2.3CL with a 5-speed, titanium gold in color. I had an Accord before this and was looking for something newer with a little more luxury. There aren't a lot of cars out there I liked, except for most of Acura's cars. Test drove a Type S, loved it except for the price and no 5sp manual. A few months later of checking the papers every day and I found a 99 5speed. Very hard to find! Bought it that day. It had <17,000kms, just over 10K miles, and was in brand new shape. I wasn't sure about the color, but now that I've had it for a few weeks I kinda really like it. It does need a spoiler, but I don't love the stock spoiler too much...Any chance the 2001 CL spoiler will fit? Anyways, just saying hi, this board sounds really great.

Welcome, sure wish i had a 5-speed 
i don't think a type-s spoiler will fit but i'm not positive. You can get a factory style or a type-r high spoiler(which looks nasty you can see it on wings west website)

Hey, chrw! Welcome to the Acura family... I know you'll enjoy your CL as much as I have. We, too, have owned many Honda prducts and have been very happy with the increased level of luxury and performance from my CL. Many happy miles to ya... I know you'll love it, I know I love mine (just wish I had a stick). Ah, well, take care up there in Canada

Hey welcome to the family. About the whole spoiler thing, I dont believe a Type S will fit. I think most people will agree with me on the fact that the Type R spoiler is butt ugly. IF you want a spoiler I suggest just putting a factory one on. It looks better than anything else on the market.

Welcome to the board. I am going to have to agree at first i thought the type-r spoiler was nice then i saw it on a cl in person and trust me it looks butt ugly I have seen one at english town with an aluminum wing and it looked really good thats what i am planning on doing then again i am going crazy with the mods on my car oh and one more thing most mods for our cars have to be custom im lucky i know a bit about custom body work but not too much i still need a pros help with some stuff well good luck and have fun try not to go crazy like I plan to
