Well I found myself a new car. I found a 2004 corvette coupe with 22000 miles, and every option, heads up, active handling, etc. I am going to pick it up tomorrow but the price is not set it stone, its just the way it worked out. can anyone give me a good idea on what I should be paying?

I kinda wanted to see what people thought about the vettes too. Since they are quite the opposite of a CL. The color is Spiral gray.
I do plan on keeping the CL to drive everyday.

Is that the Chevy dealer in Royersford, PA? A buddy of mine bought a used Vette there last year, he said they were pretty solid people and gave him a decent price.

Thanks for the compliments. I have some pics from when i picked it up. What really sucks is that its raining and won't stop for a while so I wont get to play for a little bit.

The guy before me had some parts on it. The dealer just handed them to me.
One thing was straight pipes. I am afraid to put them on because i have a feeling the cops will be all over it. Maybe someone can tell me how loud it really will be?

put it this way, if you put those on, your vette will sound like Concord ( prolly give you 10-20 hp too )

 

Now that is a very nice whip. You will really enjoy that car. Vettes are classic American muscle. There ain't a CL in the world that can touch that on the highway, as much as I hate to say it. And you know, the ride will be much more rough, but you will love the power. Good luck, and put those pipes on, the cops won't get ya unless you act like an ass in front of them.

 

I'm sure there are some faster CL's... I dont know what this car will even run. Well to be honest.. I don't know much about the vette. My dad recently got one and I want to be able to take it to shows and take drives with him. Thats really why I got it.

The other neat things are that everyone knows what it is and people wave and stuff as you drive by. Its a great feeling. Oh yea they move a little even the automatics (what my dad has)

The vette has the standard suspension and i acutally dont find it very annnoying. It is NOT a quiet ride like i got used to from the CL though.

 

That is a bad ass motor, if it is a 327 small block, you got a lot of potential. If it is a 427 big block, well, enough said.

Haha, I lived in Washington PA for a couple of years when I was a kid... Sure was pretty, but the schools were weird.

 

i doubt u'll get pulled over by cops for having those exhausts put on. . . they'll just look at the vette and say it sounds nice and let you go by cause it's an american car
