Hi,

I'm new here. I am looking into buying a 98 CL 3.0 with 70,000 miles on it.
What is the common opinion on these cars. Are there any problems related to this model/year. Thanks in advance for any help

 

IMO i think its a great car. I have a 97 3.0CL with a 120K mile on mine and it still running strong with no leaks or noises.

 

i agree with jimmy.. even tho i have a 2.2cl it still has 115k and it is the best running car ive ever owned.. not to mention pretty quick too..for a four banguh

i think you're makin a good choice with the 3.0, even though its auto, it is still the quickest CL in the 1st gen.. good luck with yo decision..

Thanks everybody. I got it!!!! Whoo hooo!!! I bought it yesterday. It is a 3.0 Premium white. I used to have a Probe GT, god what a difference in ride and comfort. Although the Probe with the v6 was pretty fast.
I love this CL. It is so quiet, powerfull enough and smooth.
