Dennis,

Your CL looks great!

I like the look of the rear lip and the DVD system. Makes me want to mold the rear lip I have in the basement, instead of just taping/screwing it on.

My Uncle owns a Car audio/video store. All I need is the $$$ to get your look!

i dont think dennis' lip is molded right? it looks just regular, not like vxcl's

vxcl have the rear lip molded by ross aka rmstico

price wise i think it was 800 to mold the lip and and another 300 to paint if im not mistaken, ask mike aka vxcl what he paid

97Acura3.0CL- I've been thinking about getting black housings but I like the clear on clear better. Maybe I'll make a new post with a poll on what you guys think will look better later.

My Alpine system doesn't have a built in Tv tuner.

jermz123- I bought the rear lip for $100.

Eric, I'll PM you the guys' email address later.

dragon084- a shop called midnight customs molded the lip.

MikeSwing- I like the Alpine set up but it doesn't play burned CD's or MP3's as you know. For as much as the system was,I think they should.

97Acura3.0CL- I looked at VXCL's pics and it looks like his site a little lower than mine. I wanted the side skirts and the front lip to line up as close as possible. I don't have the exaust cut out either. VXCL wanna shed some light on this? I think VXCL said he paid $800 for the front and rear to get molded and NOT painted. He had someone else paint it. Not Ross. The guy charged me around $450 for mold and paint but that was with the hook up because I know the owner.

I had my lip molded on about a little bit lower than his. It looks like the same lip. i also had the point replicated in the center to match the bumper and trunk. Looks GOOD dennis.

mine

his

actually they are very close, it seems his exhuast either sits real low or he had it sit lower to clear the lip. my side is diff becuase my lip was cut in half so it didnt have to be pushed up to fit. u can see the slight buckle under the car from his lip being mounted a little higher on the sides to get it to fit on the cl. the accord bumper is alittle larger than ours.

They are M3 mirrors. I got the mirrors off ebay for $100 but I don't exactly remember and shipping to Hawaii is always a pain in the ass. A friend charged me $60 to paint. I installed them myself with a help from a friend becuase he had the tools. They take a little more modification that I thought but everything worked out okay.

Thanks VXCL, I wanted to get this done for a long time. And when you got it done first I had to do it right away cuz it looked way too tight.

The brain unit is located under the passenger seat. It fits pretty snug unlike my Clarion set up.

It's hard man. All my shit are MP3's. This is the third system I've had in the CL. And 2nd multimedia system. Oh well, I guess I gotta steal some of my friends' CD's.

Thanks Baka_t, so what? Are we all down to cruise this weekend?

fuck yea!, last saturday we had a night cruise in honor of two racers that passed away, had about 350+ cars that showed up at like 12 at night, looked like there was a traffic jam on the freeway at 12:30 in the morning

Yeah about 300+ cars and about 20 bikes. That shit was just out of control.
