Just curious to know... As a new gen-1 CL owner, thanks to my good friend Gdubb, I am conservative when saying I am a bit disappointed in the modification bag of tricks we have at our disposal. I assume the there were more than 10-20 of these cars sold in the US and there should be some logical explaination as to why, We got the shaft! Big freekin deal we get an intake, cat back exhaust, 1 header manufacture for 3.0 (witch we are price gouged at 1100 dollars for that shit) to make a WHOPPING 15- 20 hp. and some wrap around see through plastic to go in the corners of the front bumper! Does this about sum it up? Oh wait I forgot about the 20 hp ebay resistor "chip" to stick in you wiring harness. By the way has anyone ever bought that shit? So I guess I am going a bit tangent here, but damn where are all the guys that make the kits and stuff for the other car... Why hasn't Acura developement group given back to the people that brought them into this damn country? Just food for thought! I love my CL / but hate it's neglection!

You have a good point ... for those of us that can do custom work true. I would like the lazy yet stout look. I think It would cost a bit less and you wouldn't spend nearly as much time customizing as you would Riding!

 

if you think about the only thing we really dont have is a body kit..we have one..but only one..... cause we use almost everything accord.... our car is an accord..just nicer...same perfume...diffrent bottle

there is hardly anything for the CL because people are retards and could never remember the Acura CL 2.3 thats two words and a number search for our car, lots of people can remeber 1 word like accord, civic, predule, legend, integra thats why there is shit out for those cars and not out acura cl 2.3

 

the CL was not marketed to be modded out. It was aimed at an older audience intially, so there wasn't a demand to have those mods available. And its not really a "sports car" so not many places picked up creating mod-parts for it.

 

...and, as far as I can tell, there just aren't that many CLs out there, relative to the number of accords, civics, integras etc. Without the market waiting aftermarket manufacturers aren't going to put a whole lot of time or money into development.

From what I can tell we have just about one of everything (maybe two in some cases i.e. headers) - our engines are supposedly already tuned for close to max output so there aren't a whole lot of electrical mods either.

I am a pretty lazy surfer... I don't like clicking and clicking to go to several links to find what I want, soryy for not being more specific, But I have read all those threads the first day I got on with Reccommendations from Gdubb.

as for a sight that only specializes in CL mods and parts, I don't believe that there is one. at least I have not been able to stumble on one.

 

Most of the stuff for CL's is crossreferenced from 94-97 Accords.
