I was just exiting a drive through after picking up some chinese food, when I was rolling up the window on my 97 cl, and I heard glass breaking. It was about 5 inches from the top, and the window is stuck there now. The motor still runs, but the glass will only go down. I cannot see any breaks in the glass. If anyone could answe some questions I would appreciate it.

What caused this to happen?
How much is a replacement window?
Should I have an autoglass place install a new window, or take it to the dealer?

One more question I forgot, would the glass from a 94-97 accord coupe work as well?

yeah it is the window regulator. Unless you can visibly see the window cracked or broken chances are that this is just the sound from the regulator. Mine did the same thing. Warranty covers it if you are still covered by one. Just pay the deductible and get it over with;/

 

the side glass is tempered, if it cracks, the WHOLE thing goes.
