these are the rims that i currently have

i want to get these rims in black with a red lip and keep the center cap chrome. my question to everybody is what do yall think it would look like ? maybe can someone do a photoshop for me... and also if i was to get these powdercoated does anybody no whether they can powdercoat chrome rims??? i appreciate all the help and opinions that i get

 

They can powdercoat chrome rims, but they would have to sandblast the chrome off first

Doesn't look too bad... The Riax rims I have are similar minus the red lip.

 

im not sure if those wheels look good with "Time Attack" style theme. if you want that theme i would go with "time attack" wheels

IMO for the price of doing the full-on custom powdercoat, you could probably just get a set of rota time attack knockoffs which'll look a lot closer to the real thing....or the sportmax 006's which already are offered like that in a mesh style:

i'd go w/what flip suggested. The chrome center on yours looks kinda tacky though. i'd go all black center.

 

Honestly I really love the chromies, but I also like the chop azn did, they'd look sick time attack style. Also if you do it, leave the center caps chrome like in the picture

 

im liking to chop that AznX TL did but i was thinking that them red would be inza red pearl to match with the car... i just painted my stock black and am going to do the center caps in black with the inza red A. i appreciate everyones opinions bout what to do. i love the rims and dont want to part ways with them but chrome is a bitch to keep clean . thats why i was checking my options on what to do with them hey could u possibly do a chop with those rims on my car here's the link to a thread with my car http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=191893. if you could do that i would really appreciate it

 

shit i just noticed i forgot to leave the back wheel center chrome

I had a set of ice metal IM883s powdercoated black after the chrome started to flake. They were blasted and coated and the chrome didnt blast off completely. They are in the trash, they chipped and looked terrible.

If you want different rims, get some. I really don't think it wise to attempt to coat chrome.
