Need ideas for basic upgrades

Hey, I have a 98' CL 3.0 with 72k on it. It is bone stock. What are some basic upgrades to give the car a little performance and ride improvement. Nothing extreme please. Should I go with the K&N or some other complete intake? How about some economic shocks and struts. I don't drive it hard at all. I basically just want the smoothest ride possible as well as the longest life out of the car. Also, it there major maintaniance at the 75k marker? Thanks for any tips.

Andy

i would go with a aem cai and catback exhaust (u can pick that up with a good universal muffler like magnaflow for like $160 and the catback for like $100
i have gold line drop springs 2.25 drop looks and rides great

i think acura offers a scheduled tune up but i wouldnt pay as much as they want for it besides that u can go ahead and get a now timing belt
HOPE I COULD HELP

Welcome to the board!

Well yeah an aftermarket intake would be a nice way to start off. I would suggest cold air intake maybe an aem. Easy to install and doesn't cost all that much. Then maybe for the drop you can go with eibach prokits. They will drop you about 1.5" so it's not that huge of a drop and your car will ride pretty much stock from what I've noticed. If you have extra money you can go with koni yellows so that you can adjust the ride a little, but I would suggest doing both springs and struts at the same time to save on installation costs.
