Need a high output alternator, help

Alright so my alternator is fried and there is no way in hell I am paying acura to put in a 80amp alternator. I was looking on ebay and there are 135,150,180 amp versions for the 2.2/2.3 honda engines, I have a 98 2.3, can I use an alternator for a 2.2?

There's a guy I recently talked to that owns Hammer Distribution. His name is Bill Nollf. He quoted me on a 180 amp alternator for my 3.0 CL with a 1 year warranty. His price is the cheapest I found and he's real helpful too. You might want to give him a holla 386-837-4606. Tell him Quin referred you. He probably won't care but it might not hurt to try. I got 10% off my quote because I was referred.

If you don't like him, you can also try Dave's DC Electric out in Cali. My current alternator is from him. It's 140 amps and I got it for $380, I believe. Bill Nollf is about $100 cheaper then him.

for 2.2/2.3's the highest you can go is 150 amps. 180 for the 3.0's. Look on ebay for some, or search for alterstart alternators. I really need to get a new one as well. Lemme know if you find any 150amp ones for cheap
