how do i know what the offset of my rims are? i just got them they are 18x7.5 and the tires are 225 40 18... will they fit on my car? i have a 97 cl

 

noob guide. and the lug pattern has to be 114.3x4 btw

 

yea i know that. the noob guide says i need a 42-45 offset but is that something that can be adjusted or do the rims have a preset offset? like can you just adjust them when you put them on?

the face of the wheels are facing to the right side btw
a higher positive offset means the actual part of the wheel that touches the wheel hub will be further to the outside of the wheel, kinda hard to explain but the pic says it all basically

look for a sticker or stamp on the inside of the rim

 

If you know what rims they are google them, otherwise, look for a sticker or stamp
