need help with remote start install
guys,
i am installing my remote start tomorrow on my cl.i just need to know these couple things.
-where to tap in for the tachometer?
-where to tap in for the parking lights?
-where to tap in for the brake shutdown?

parking lights... find the color of the wire under the dash and try to follow it into the car. the brake, just use the wire off the brake switch (next to the pedal) that tests negative while on and positive while pressed. hth.

I tapped Tach under the hood at the Tach test plug. It's next to the ABS pipes in the front right in front of the strut tower. It is a single wire with a plug on the end and a rbber cap all taped to a wiring harness.
If you do not connect the Tach, you don't have the saftey feature of over/under REV protection.
Any good Remote starter won't kill you battery. It won't crank for too long until it realizes it won't crank.
Also, the factory alarm has 80% of the wire already there (Parking Lights, locks, trunk, hood, door, etc).
