ok i got a second "mechanic" to vouch that theres suppose to be a sensor for the stock intake and i guess i took it out and didnt put it back in. and that is why my car is acting up.

ok i think what it is a vacuum leak, i didnt put any clamps on the intake besides the one that goes onto the manifold and the filter, i just put a clamp on the big vaccum tube, but i have another little vacuum tube connected near the manifold, and its connected to this thing wire 3 sets of tubes/wires.
im basicly set that this is a vacuum leak because its starts a little easier now, runs longer than earlier today. im gonna take some pictures to see what you guys thing

must be a pretty damn big vacuume leak. When I forgot to connect one of the tubes on my intake manifold the other day, it started up but idled really high, then idled up and down while running really rich.

HAHA WOW! Are you serious? You didn't clamp a rubber tube that will have air moving through it at rapid speeds? I'd say that's a major overlook on the installation of an intake

Ahh! Mine came with like 90 clamps, I still have some left over. I'm about to switch out the 3-piece metal set that connects to the throttle body out for the rubber tubing that came with the intake. I did a makeshift connection using a rubber tube from the metal piece to the intake. It only took two clamps and a piece of rubber tubing to get the 3-piece metal thing conencted to my intake (I don't know what it's called)

and that thing leads to this box

It connected to the stock intake. When you put on a CAI, the resonator comes out, but if you have a SRI, it doesnt need to come out. At the bottom of the filter box, theres a rubber fitting that goes into the resonator fitting.

It connects right off the throttle body! How can you already have it installed and driving it and then ask where does it go? Post a pic of your entire engine bay. Remove the old stock resonator if it is whistling.
