i hate ordering parts

ugh, such a pain. 3rd set of 97 CL brake upgrade parts to rotor over hub conversion.
3rd person that doesnt want to do ebay or OEM parts. So I ordered hub and bearing assembly from rock auto. They sent me just a hub bearing assembly. So I have a bearing and no hub. But they charged me what I would have paid for the two parts.

anyone ever order struts from 1aauto.com?

i ordered one for my 97 3.0 and they sent me some god forsaken part that looked like it was from a truck. had 5 bolts instead of 2 and a HUGE spring.

they're very good about returns though. emailed me a sticker for free shipping and got all my money back..the wierd part was that was the ONLY one they stocked for the 97 3.0, i don't understand how thats possible

You want to try to find an impossible part. Try to find a Front hub (hub only) for a 98 CL 3.0 premium. I have found a gazillion Rears, but no one stocks a front. I refuse to go dealer and pay over $150 each.

by not being able to be pressed in and out; i mean the bearing into the hub , not the hub as a whole into the knucle

NEED help guys

Here is the deal. Buddy is still refusing to pay dealer prices of around $180 per hub. So I have exhausted my search abilities.

I am unable to find 2 front hubs (only hubs, no bearings) for a 1998 Acura CL 3.0 premium. Everyone and their mother has rear ones, but no front. Please help guys. THanks

forgive me; as i am a little confused as to what you're doing.. you said you're doing a hub conversion to ROTOR over HUB as seen on the 98-99 CL correct? So; my question is, why did you order a 97 bearing? Let me reiterate: the bearing that you have there; will not press into that hub..nor do they sell a hub seperate for a 98-99 CL..anywhere..ever. Really im just confused why you're ordering parts for a 97..

...nobody sells those seperate for a 98-99 acura cl. never have..never will..as they were sold as an assembly from dealers..want just the hub go to the junkyard..good luck finding a bearing next... maybe more research would do you some good man..

1997 acura CL:
hub over rotor set up: knuckle>dustshield>rotor>bearing>hub
hub and bearing can be bought seperately..
1998-1999 Acura CL:
rotor over hub set up:
knuckle>dustshield>hub>rotor...
parts are sold as a whole complete assembly, bearings are not sold seperately for this year vehicle and model.

Yes I doing the Hub over rotor conversion. Every parts site I have ordered a HUB/Bearing Assembly for a 1998 Acura CL 3.0 It has always just come as the damn bearing. Same as the 2nd pic on above. Never a hub and bearing. This is the aggravating situation.
Project, you seem to know more than I...you have a part number for what I would need laying around??

Both threads served the same purpose, so I combined them (before I saw this post unfortunately).

Say I ordered the 44600-SY8-A00 from the dealer, is that everything I need? I wouldnt need the 44200-sv7-a01 as well if I wanted the hub and bearing assembly as a one piece.
