Hey all,

I just need a few things explained...

1) The 97 Acura CL 3.0 Premium edition has an alarm or theft deterent system, are there different level of settings for the alarm or security settings of some sort?

2) For some reason when I use the remote car starter, it takes like about 4 min before the vehicle starts, it's an Astrostart car starter...shouldn't it start quicker than that, like under 1 min?

b) How would i get my defrost to come on when i use the starter in the winter time, considering the system is digital not the same as turning a dial and leaving it on?

3) Is there a DYI or thread or possibly a link on how to remove/install the head unit or aftermarket deck?

i can answer 1/2 of ur questions,
2) your car should start to turn on in about 20 seconds max..
2b) u have to leave ur defroster on if u want it to work with the autostart, its the same as a traditional climate control.
