NEED CAI

Damn Cold Air Intakes for CL's are hard to find....unless it's for new TYPE-S models....but I heard from friends, (and also from other posts here at this site) that AEM makes COld Air Intakes for Honda Accords 94-98' that are compatible for my automatic 97' 3.0 CL...can anybody confirm this? and also, can anybody tell me where i can find one? thanx

I have the AEM CAI for my 98 3.0- Get model #21-416. This is for 98+AccordV6/3.2TL/3.2CL. It will fit the 3.0, except the mounting spots need a little adjustment to make it fit. But it does fit snug into our car. Get it from http://www.aieonline.com Got mine for 185 there- no shipping charges. See pics below

3PointZero i s correct. I did the same thing and the shop that put it in did it in less than an hour. The mounting spots gotta be adjusted just a little. I'll take pictures soon and post them. If you get it and decide to get a Air Bypass, do it all at the same time to save yourself time.

Sunny day and a low res digital cam dont mix well...

After the install, just put in a piece of rubber on the mounting spots to dampen any vibrations and you're set.

$200 is about average. I got mine for $185 cause I bought it during a group buy. I dont have a bypass valve, but for more info on what it does goto AEM's WEbsite

I have a DAC from DC Sports, I have had for almost a year now and I really love it. It sounds really good and can feel an increase in hp. It is not a cold air intake though, but DC is coming out with cold air extensions for the DAC, I am waiting for the accords application to come out. It cost me about 180. I think DC makes some of the best mods you can buy.

You don't really need an air bypass valve, unless u live in an area w/ lot of rain, or u dropped ur car and worried that water might get in engine. I didn't get my air bypass valve (around $40 from AEM) and i'm doing fine so far w/ my CAI.
