Need Acura Part #................
Need Acura Part #................
Hey guys I need to find a part number for our tranny. I have the 97 of course, but I think the 97/98/9 are different trannies cause mine isnt covered under the extended warrenty for the transmision.
Before you all ask, I did go to acuraautomotiveparts.org and they did not have the EXACT part number for the tranny. They had part numbers for parts inside the tranny but not the tranny itself in a whole.
Also I need the Tourque Convertor as well, but I think I have the right one, #17727, Tourque Convertor, $359.69?
Lastly, I need to make a video tomorrow on the Digi of the sound its making. CLpower, I think this is what your experiencing. Can anyone host it for me? Hit me up on AOL IM @ jgiguere17
Thanks
Joe

Keep in mind that the 1997 powertrain has a ECM (engine control module) and a TCM (tranmission control module). The 1998/99 powertrain ony has a ECM (they combined both units into one).
Mechanically speaking the 1998/99 tranny will work on the '97 engine. The mechanic may need to alter some of the wires to get this to work.
I have the opposite; I have the 1999 engine and the 1997 tranny. The dude who dropped in my engine had to customize several pinouts in order to get the combo to work.
