i was changing my oil the other day and i was looking at my cat, I unbolted it and inserted a stud throgh the top of the cat and put a bolt on it(so that it is disconnected but secure so it wont fall). i cranked it up and it was so LOUD, at idle it sounded like a V8 but once you got going it just started to sound like rice, but it was way too loud, it took me about five minutes to take off and i had a little fun driving around with it like that(but i would never keep it like that). Yeah it was kind of loud when I heard it at school I was like damn....... but hook it back up & get an exhaust.

 

yeah when I got my swap done i had to drive it to the muffler shop to get new piping to fit the h22 header with no cat. It sounds like a fucking harley

 

haha...i'm going open header to diamond bar this weekend...wonder what it'll sound like since i got them heads..

 

oh yea, forgot to mention, i'm also gonna be running on race gas, lol....

 

chris you dork your gonna be the first one to get pulled over if the cops show. Have you ever heard a honda with open header? Worst sound you'll ever heard

 

i dont know about cars but when the race gas is burned at the motocross tracks because of the oil in the gas and the high octaine gas the exaust smells sweet! like coton candy.. after a day of smelling it tho i get a headach --- and oh that is cool that to disconnect the cat is only a couple of mintues , is it cool enough to try it out ?? probly not i have heard plenty of other ricers loud cars, dont need to trap more bees in a tin can, theres enough out there.
