I was thinking of put a navi in my cl. I got a price on a alpine which would run around $1500, for the module, tv screen, and the labor the guy said. I also talked to another guy and he told me an eclipse navi would run me about $3000 for everything. Have anyone added a navi and what were the prices????

I don't have any experience with navigation units in automobiles, but it seems to me that you can do everything (and more) the navi does with a laptop computer.

check out parts-express.com for a monitor, they have good monitors for really good prices... then add an alpine (or brand of choice) nav system, and either install it your self or have someone install it. That'll lower your price quite a bit, cause major brand name monitors are way over priced. But like jabba said, a laptop can do anything! Keep us posted as to your decision, and hook us up with some pics if you get it in there.
