I am going to install my NX EFI single spray next weekend and dont want to go in retarded. I was just wondering if there is anything I should know before I start. ie where the fuel return line is, where to locate the spray nozzle, how to hook up the WOT switch, where to mount selenoids, and so forth. So any help you all got is apprechiated!

I sent you a PM last night.

I'm trying to upload the photos that I took this morning, but Fotki.com is down! If I can get them uploaded in the next 30 minutes, I'll do put them on tonight after I get home (after 10PM EDT).

On the Throttle Position Sensor, you'll tap into the red and black striped wire.

You can run your nitrous line through a gromet, down where your spare tire is mounted. Run the line under the car, then up through the bottom of the engine bay. However, I didn't think my nitrous line was long enough, so I threaded the line from the trunk, behind the back seat, under the door sill, up under the dash, and throught the gromet in the firewall into the engine bay.

I've already sent you a pic of where my nozzle is noubted on my CAI.

Why do you need to know where the fuel return line is? On my system, I only needed to tap into the fuel line (leading to the engine). I have a pic of this (when Fotki comes on-line).

I'll get pics up this evening to show where the red/black wire is located, plus where to tap into the fuel line (I'm at work).

here you go

here is the line peaking through the back seat. You can slide it in there w/o having to remove it and it'll come out the back when you have your trunk tray taken out.

I ran mine through the running board, there was plenty of room for it to fit and the board just clips off

here is where to send it into the engine bay

Here's where I tapped into the fuel line:

Here's where the TPS Sensor is located:

The red/black striped wire is located where the arrow head is pointing. You may need to peel back the outer layer covering three separate wires. One of the wires is the red/black striped wire.

Any one have ideas on where to mount the bottle, my sub, two amps, and cap? I was thinkin, between the wheel wells mount the bottle with the nozzle on the left hand side. But have the nozzle in reach so you can turn the nozzle from the inside of the car. Build a wall that covers off the whole rear end. Mount the cap, and amps on the wall, also place neon accents. then put another board on top of that with cut outs for each things and plexi glass and have neon lights light up the amps. Just gotta think of a way to move the wall when the bottle gets refilled. Also where to put the sub!

also, if you are doing the WOT throttle mechanism, make sure it doesn't come in contact w/ the cruise control. I had a really scary situation when we first hooked it up, i put the cruise on and the mechanism caught it and wouldn't disengage the cruise control. I'd slow down w/ the brakes, it'd go right back up to 80. Very scary.

did you still use a switch to activate it? I am just confused about the spraying itself. When i flip the switch is it just a quick burst? or does it spray continuously?

okay, both systems have an activation switch which engages the solenoids. Now the WOT kits only spray when the car is at WOT, so it remains off till you gun it. My system was hooked up to a button, so whenever I wanted I just pushed the button and the juice flew in

I have the "lazy-man's" system. Zex packages their "WOT switch" and solenoid into the "little Purple Box". All I had to do was find a location to mount the box, wire it to the "arming switch", then wire the arming switch to a 12-volt source.

Zex purple box:

Arming switch (and [small] purge button):
