5sp manual or the cl-s 5sp auto ?

i know for sure you can't do the second .. the 2nd gen auto tranny is several inches wider.

It depends on what kinda CL ur bro has...if he has the 2.2/2.3 then yes he can do it...but the 3.0 has a j30 engine in it and there is no manual transmission made for it...the only way that would be possible to turn a 3.0 into a manual would be to use the new 6 speed one but that is a lot of $$$ and wouldn't be worth it...

Yes, I just did the swap. An Accord or Prelude 5 speed will fit perfect. I just got mine back yesterday... I have no 1st 3rd or 5th gear because the short throw shifter got screwed up on the drive home. But otherwise it kicks ass. If you want to know how it goes over some time just ask. I'm driving back up there today in 2nd and 4th, hehe, wish me luck...
