reset your ECU, you obviously have a problem. Under the hood pull the fuses for back up clock/radio and your ecu fo 10 seconds. Does the CEL come on right away after the cars ecu was reset?

no, you did it correctly, i donno why you cant get any codes to come out, definately look up your closest autozone and bother them to pull the code for you. But in all reality, from everything that you've said about your uncle, he pay have messed up the timeing. When did this problem start, right after he put the belt on? did you put the intake on at the same time he was working on the belt?

nah, prolly not the case. Take the timing belt cover off and make sure non of the teeth of the belt are "chewed" off. I'm only suggesting little things until you get the code that your pulling, usually thats the best place to start, but definately dont take your uncles CEL diagnostic tool serious. looks like you'll be going to autozone today.

First off, the timing is probably not out too far if the car will run. Secondly, it seems likely that your uncle installed the belt improperly. (The bevel is in instead of out)
Thirdly, PLEASE, PLEASE have a qualified mechanic look at that. Your problems have NOTHING to do with the INTAKE.

That whooping sound after the failed start sounds like air was pushed back through the intake or something is rubbing aginst a shroud. (kind of hard to tell) If the timing has slipped you could be doing damage to the v-tec system. And I would imagine the O2 sensor failure is related to the other issues.

Go back to your uncle and KICK HIM IN THE BALLS! He has FUBARED your whip and now you gotta find a good mechanic or it is gonna get worse.

Good luck.

it keeps going dim like its about to stall, and the rpm goes down to zero for a little bit, but then it goes back up if it doesnt stall

Run these down.... IAC, TPS, O2b1, O2b2(heated), CHECK THE TIMING.

Then, Have the Timing Belt and Water Pump re-installed by a pro... And finally, GO KICK YOUR UNCLE IN THE JIMMY.

Did you say he replace the ALT with the wrong amp rating? If you have a dead cell, you could damage the charging system with a new alternator. But if that were the case, you would turn over very slowly or not at all (click click).

ok secondary cell issue is resolved, because my exhaust system is leaking and thats probably why the o2 sensor has gone bad
