Hello to all my First Gen CL owners. I got some bad news my 1997 Acura CL 3.0 was in a car accident. Girl ran a red light, I tried to avoid her but ended up hitting her driver side fender. Its a Total Loss since both Air Bags deployed, luckily no one was hurt. Im gonna miss her 3/11/16.

Based on the impact and the way the car crumpled appears as if it ran into someones car, based on how the hood is folded back, the grilled in shoved inward. How exactly did she hit you?
Also airbag deployment doesn't total a car, generally frame damage or any damage that would cost more or close to the value of the car would total it..

But yes in your case your's would definitely be totaled, sorry to hear man.

 

Yea she ran the red light. i tried to avoid hitting her driver side door and ended up hitting the front driver side fender and wheel.

Glad you're OK I was recently in an accident as well. I'm pretty sure my car is going to be a total loss... sucks

my car was t-boned. I'm ok but the is done.

 

Dam that sucks. I was T-Bones in my Acura a few years ago by a old Toyota Tocoma. Pushed my rear driver side wheel in. They wrote me a check, but I got it fixed and the whole car painted for less than half of what they gave me.

 

Any pictures of the damage? My car was parked, and it was hit. How much did it run to do the repair? Insurance is trying to total out the cL..

If it has frame damage. its totaled.
