my f ing brake lamp

so just the other day the lil light in my car came on that says i have a brake lamp out . so thats no biggie . right ..... no wrong . i change the bulb with ease , but when i go to look at at all the other bulbs i found out that there was a lamp missing (from the brake light inside your car right next to the rear window ) . and i do a lil investagation and i found out there isnt even awire harness going to it ... so im wondering if there was ever one there when i first bought the car a year ago.... or how do i even go about getting a new one . . .aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh

is your car has a spoiler then there wouldn't be a harness there because it would be used for the spoiler LEDs.

The connector/harness that plugs into the third brake light is connected to another harness that runs up to the spoiler. It just appears the dealer/whoever wired it up right.

In most state's it's illegal to have both light up...something about more than x number of rear lights, idk. I wouldn't do it anyway tho, it looks ghey :ghey: b/c it's a diff shade/look.

Aight man, I just went and looked at mine for ya. In the third brake like there is a black twist in holder in the center that holds the bulb. The harness plugs right into that black piece. Whey they install the spoiler, that harness is unplugged and then plugged into a mating connector on the wires that come with the spoiler. If you just want to see what it looks like, just unplug the connector from the wires that go to the spoiler, and plug it back in the black piece.

If you have the money get mb quart q's 6.5 inch componet kit for the front.. The tweeter will drop right in, the mid will take a little bit of work to get in, but will be worth it. I can turn mine up all the way running off an alpine headunit with a pheonix gold amp that puts out 550 watts rms, and they dont distort at all. They are amazing.

Ya know, get what you can get man. Who cares, as long as it's a good brand and sounds good to you.

MB Quart
Boston Acoustics
Focal
Infinity
Alpine
A/D/S
Image Dynamics
Crossfire
Dynaudio
JL Audio
ETC, ETC, ETC

AND - I wouldn't put tweeters in the stock locations...horns under the dash baby!

i agree with getting what you can get. But be careful it is gonna be a tight fit. All the companies he listed are good, but the smallest depth ive ever seen in a mid 6 is the q's and they still didn't fit. The deeper the magnet, prepare for a fun install.
