Question My exhaust rattle!

I have a 97 2.2 cl, and the exhaust tip rattles, I believe the chrome tip over the exhaust tip is rattling together when my car idles, any suggestions to get rid of this annoying pain?

I hope these arent the only solutions to eliminate the rattling noise...

Im not into spending extra money on a custom exhaust, the stock one LOOKS good.

And if i take off the chrome, ill have a skinny little ugly exhaust!!

Come on im sure one of u have had this problem before and some how got rid of it!!

is it welded on or is there a screw? u can take the tip off, put some duct tape on the stock part, then screw it back on. Team BAD fixes everything with duct tape!

Is that safe to put duct tape on the stock exhaust? it wont catch fire, melt or cause a mess or anything will it?

thats a good idea though!

You can tighten the screws at the bottom of each tip. Please don't use duct tape for anything. That's just soooo guhettO!

i checked under the exhaust there are 2 screws to tighten, i think one is stripped so i just spun the exhaust until it grabbed and it was pretty tight, fixed, no rattle!
