So, lately I've been faceing another problem with my CL .. here's what's up
My engine temperature is acting funny... When I start up my car and drive around local roads and stuff the temperature gauge reads perfect and its normal.

however, as soon as I hit the highway, and doing well over 60 the temperature drops .. I'm from NY so yes, its kind of cold out there but that shouldn't happen either way right?


What could be the problem?

sounds to me like ur thermostat is stuck open.

 

so what should i do?

 

buy a new thermostat

 

does anyone know normal engine temps?

 

wheres the thermostat?

 

I got min changed for 20.00 and its now going well...

 

I assume you have checked your water and antifreeze correct? Sounds like a thermostat
