This is pretty funny, I had a buddy of mine text me today and tell me that my old CL was up for sale on Craigslist. So I checked it out and sure enough...

Weird though, I guess the guy I sold it to is having 2nd thoughts, I only sold it about a month ago, either that or he's trying to turn a quick profit. I sold it to him for 3300 and he's asking 4000. Hell, in a way I kinda wanna buy it back almost. I would almost buy it back, if the damn thing wasnt falling apart and is probably on its last legs to be truthful. Oh well, just figured I'd mention it.

Dayum! I just bought this car!! I got it for 3500, and just drove it back to SC for my lil bro who is in college. Whats wrong with it for it to be on its last leg, seemed to take the 6.5 hour drive just fine.

I did, but the guy only had it for a month and he sold it bc his dad just passed 4 days ago and he's getting his father's car. I had a 93 Accord for 10 years, so I know what to look for for the most part, but since the ORIGINAL owner is here, what's wrong with asking him??

I just think it needs normal maintenance for a 10 to 12 year old car. It took the 6.5 hour drive fine, as long as the auto tranny holds up you should be fine....i hope LOL

So you bought my car eh? Well congrats. Whats wrong with it....well...I'm the 2nd owner, I had it for 8 years, and you know how you just kinda "feel" that coming up shortly a car is gonna die on you? Thats the feeling I had.

I had a mechanic look at it, and from what he told me, I had an cracked exhaust manifold. Also, somewhere there was a hole in the exhaust. The window regulators are bad, theres tears in the leather, holes where headrest tv's used to be, no alarm, and the headliner is sagging. I actually stuffed a towel in between the headliner and roof to stop a rattle. Apparently the tranny is on its last legs, seriously, you might want to get it checked out. Also, look at the front and back bumpers, the paint is cracking, (a couple parking lot benders). Also, you need some spark plugs, and the battery dies if you dont start the car for 3 days. The tint on the passenger side is also starting to come off. Sometimes you have to play w/ the passenger window for a few to get it to work. Your shocks are completely and utterly useless. The panasonic cd changer is missing the tray. You dont have a cigarette lighter. Sorry about all the holes in the console where the air suspension gauges used to be. I dont know if spraying nitrous into a car w/ 166k was a wise idea , looking back on it. Also, I have to apologize about the trunk. It looks like a bomb went off in there. Did you get the stocks or did he sell it to you with the 19's? Either way, you need new tires. Both sets were starting to show a little steel. If you got the 19's you need to get them repainted, they're flaking pretty bad. The music will play with either the front speakers on, or the back, but not both.

Oh man, I seriously, could go on and on. But it went from its height in 04, to just being broken down bit by bit after my bike wreck. After that, it kinda just became a car, point A to point B. But everything aside, take care of the tranny, everything else is minor fixes. Oh and post some pics, I'd still like to see how my baby is doin!

lol, it's not that bad. Like I said, got the car for my younger bro he grad's college next year. He had a 95 Infitinit Q45, so imagine his gas bill! That was the main reason for getting the car. The guy I bought it from fixed the window regulators, my bro doesn't care about the ceiling or paint (still looks really good to the average person on the street as we received several nice car or what kind of car is that comments on the trip to Charlotte). I figured it needed a tune up. I'm looking for some shocks and springs to replace the skunk2's, I had those on a previous accord and hated them. He threw the 19s in, he had put some chrome wheels on there, but i told him to take them off. And I took the panasonic out and put an Alpine in so the speakers are fine. All in all, it's not too bad for a college kid I think. The seats are terrible, but nothing seat covers can't fix! It's amazing how the perspective of the owner differs greatly from the new buyer... one man's trash is another man's treasure! Anyway, I'm back to the TL forums, maybe my lil bruh will join and post on here......

yea, i thought about that after the fact. I was on a short time table tho, I saw the add Friday morning and had to make a purchase before Saturday in order not to lose my option B which was a 97 Accord EX.
