If I had 2900 to spend on that, I'd def have done it. Its gonna be well worth the money to have a gear set that won't shatter. At least I know when I get to that level you'll have tried them out for me already lol.

Negative, I'm living in Tampa enjoying the warm weather instead lol.

Car is being sent down to me March 15th, then I'll be able to keep wrenching on her. I've had my eyes opened to alot of new automotive possibilities down here, it's really motivated me to definitely bring my vision of my CL into fruition.

I love those M3's, the s65 engine in them is amazing. Probably 1 of the very few cars I wouldn't mind not having in manual transmission. And as long as you're in FL when the CL comes, I'll make sure the trip hapens 1 way or another lol.

Figured out the problem of fitting my S2 intake manifold w/o it hitting the brake booster, a problem both Shaun (who had the white H22 euro R swap) and I faced. Turns out there's a booster that fits w/o making contact, and still has the correct amount of vacuum and travel as the stock booster So my car has proper brakes again!

Engine is in, tuning coming in September as little odds and ends get fixed. Hoping to be able to register it so I can drive it around NYC for a weekend before I bring it down here to have some fun lol.

dude, seriously, have the title mailed to you and register it in FL. it will be easier for you to do that instead.

Can't register it in FL till the car is here physically, when you go to the DMV to register a car they physically check the VIN and mileage on the car to make sure it matches the title. Or else I'd have been done that lol.

dude, go to those small tag agencies. thats what i did. They give you temp tags and you have somebody that does notaries check vin and mileage or have a police officer sign it off. they give you at most 2 months to get it done.

Glad you figured it out! I didn't read the ENTIRE thread so I may have missed it...do you have any power goals in mind? And when are you coming back to NY to tune/drive the car? Hit me up

I just ordered the title from the NY DMV today since I couldn't find the original, I might have a family member register it for me.We'll see how that plays out.

In the beginning of the build I had power goals, I wanted to do 300whp/240ish tq N/A and at least 450 on boost. But to be honest w/u I'm no longer really concerned with numbers, just in having a relatively fast car that I can relentlessly beat on with a strong, consistent torque curve and not have it blow up. It helps that this will only be a toy from now on since i have a DD. Since the car weighed 3080lbs with me, my daily items, a full sized spare and a couple tools I figure after a bit of weight reduction the car should weight around 2800lbs, maybe 2700 if I go full retard on it. Should make for a fun car.
