my alignment quote

i just got quoted $320 for an alignment today at a local shop ......i was speechless when they told me how they would have to take off all 4 wheels to adjust each and every one...they made it sound like this long drawn out process. i went there before because they were the only place that could give me numbers (camber, caster, toe) and i saw that i needed a front camber kit. they started callin it a "custom alignment" because i needed a camber kit. ive never heard of a custom alignment....unless i wanted a certain degree of negative camber. this is ridiculous..sorry for ranting, just thought it was kinda funny

Does sears align lowered cars? Ive heard a lot of places wont, or they just align them to factory specs and nothing else.

Before you do anything , come talk to the boys. An alignment will run you about 60-80 and my boy who works at STS who did my civic that was dropped 3" charged $90 because of the camber kit. Don't pay that money the guy is a crook and a tool, he saw an 18 yr old and is trying to do you up the bootay. There are mad places in North Jersey that will do it at a reasonable price.

i hate all these crooked shops....shop around and be confident so they don't fuck with you, or bring your know it all car buddies...having loud mouth friends pays off, when you're not at the bar at least....
