ok everyone i am new to acura-cl.com so sorry if im to talkative,
heres a picture of my 98 Acura CL 2.3 as you can see ive added a couple things including:
Wings West front lip, wings west grille, i also welded the top grille, clear corners, all xenon bulbs, neon blue lights under the car, tinted windows, and stock spoiler.

I also have combat sideskirts but i havent gottin them installed cause i want to get them molded on and i dont have the money right now. i also am going to take the back symbols off and get rid of those ugly sidemoldings. im getting all that done for 325 without paint so if anyone knows a place to get it cheeper in southern kali please tell me.

Im also wondering if anyone knows where to buy a clear stock spoiler lens cause i dont want it red? if theres no place to buy it does anyone know how to clear it or where to clear it?

also does anyone know where to buy Lexus IS trunk tail lights? i dont want clear ones i want the red ones (stock) cause im going to weld up my tail lights and cut a circle hole in it like corvette lights except one on each side and put the trunk lights in the holes.

also does anyone know a good place to get a muffler plus installed cheep in southern kali please tell me.

and does anyone know a good site or place to buy 1.3 drop Eibach springs?

Well, welcome to the board!! Its always good to see new members! ...just make sure you use the 'search' function... i've noticed some people here get a little angry if you dont.
Anyway... your cl looks very, very nice!! I love the color and how the 'missing grille' looks too. I'd love to see a pic of the whole car... and your plans for the car sound great too! I really dont know about the clear spoiler lens, i've never seen one... but that would look cool, and i'm sure a fairly easy DIY mod. The lexus lights you may want to get right from Lexus, so you know theres nothing wrong with them and so they are good quality. Or you might be able to rip them off a junked IS or GS. As far as the other stuff goes i'm sure theres plenty of people on here in your area (seeing how i'm clear across the country) that can tell you good places to get that stuff. Car looks sweet. Welcome to the board. Like SumkidwithaCL said, I can't quite help you with where to buy things either, so hopefully some of our Cali members will hop in. I'd like to see a pic of the whole car too, it sounds sweet. I'll also agree with Sumkid for the Lexus tails. Your best bet (and most cost effective) is to get them from a junkyard. You'll pay top dollar if you get them from a dealer. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress !!

The front without the grille kind of looks like the rear. This makes for great design consistency, very tastefully done!

yes that is a acura cl in the background its a 2.2 though mines a 2.3. lol its my sisters. and yes i did get rid of the washers. and i dont know what kind of wingswest grille it is i thought there all the same. all i know is it cost and looks better then chicken wire!

do you think i should get rid of the sidemoldings when i mold my sideskirts on (its only going to cost me 325 to remove the sidemoldings and mold the sideskirts on) this is what they look like:

I love your car. How much did the grille cost you? And how much did you buy the side skirts from and were did you get them? Do they have to custom mold them to your car?

the grill cost me 100 its wingswest i got it when they first released it to the public cause for a long time they didnt let you buy it. and the sideskirts do not need modification a acura cl generation 1 use the same sideskirst as accord 94-97 i found out cause my friend has the an accord 96 and the sideskirts are the same i bought my combat sideskirts for 200. i kinda got riped but i save money on the instalation cause im getting the molded on like i said before.

i wana know how much you payed to get the front grille shaved off.. omg i want it.. either that or i'm going to order a carbon fiber custom made hood soon with no grille

it cost me 200 without paint to get rid of the grille but i didnt just puddy it i acutally welded it up with metal and good luck with the carbon fiber hood i wanted to do that but you have to get it custom and in order to do that they have to make a mold of your original hood, ive heard it cost around 400-500 dollars, plus i think for them to modify it to have no grille will cost alot cause ive looked into it before i got rid of my grille cause i wanted to also get a custom colored carbon fiber hood. so tell me what you hear.

its stock paint, after i do all my mods to the car im probably going to paint it either lime green, orangish red metalic, or a black dark blue.

i know a place that does a pretty good job of installing mufflers as well as making a custom cat back to the muffler...and i know another place that can give u pretty good deal on lowering your car as well...if u have time just hit me up...orange is kinda close... maybe i will see u on the streets.....

The grill looks kinda funny to me. It's definitely one of a kind though. Either way nice job on the overall car.

Aloha and welcome to the family! First of all, props to you for your uniqueness. I didn't like the grile at first, but it grows on you. It's nice to be different But the color of the Integra you posted is what I REALLY like. IMO, that color would look sweet on a CL. I've seen a handful of cars similar to that color and loved it. Does your sister have chrome stock wheels on her car? From the pic it kinda looked like it. I think they're nice, but they'd be a bitch to clean during winter!

yeah, my sister has chromes too lol. hers is a 2.2 she hasnt doe anything to it other then i cleared her corners and put all imatation xenon on the whole front and she put a sony system inside (xplode) anyways yeah thats for all the people who like my car cheep this link in like 2-3 months and i should have the tail light conversions done and have put pics online but not painted. if anyone wants to talk to me my sn on aim is ha247waii.

gotta agree.. the no grille look isnt really me. but the guy with the blue one does have the doormoldings shaved. i think that looks preety good.

ok everyone bad news im returning the is trunk lights and im not going to do the tail light conversion finally realized that ill never have time to do it cant stand to be without my car for that long and with school and work dont know when i could do it. so i returened the tail lights. but im getting everything else done this weekend other then the painting of the car. ill put pics when i get a chance.
