hold down the lock and the unlock at the same time for about 5 seconds. then try it. If i remember correctly this should do it. And to reverse it do the same thing

While holding the trunk release button, press and hold the unlock button on the remote... you'll see the LED on the remote flash once or twice... then unlock the car with the remote and the "chirps" should be gone.

the real deal is -----> hold down the lock and the trunk button at the same time until you see your led flash. Thats the ticket....

No need. Trunk & lock together.

Yeah its like a double beep just do the same thing mentioned in the directions above to turn the beeping back on when you lock it. I did this a while back but I forgot how annoying it was unless your lost in a parking lot.

Listen----> when your alarm is muted you here no beeps only the lights/ when the beeps go off you here two or three beeps when you unlock and one beep when you lock. Now the alarm beeps are pretty loud and very distinguishable so there is no mistaking them. If you want to turn the beeps on or off you hold your trunk and lock buttons down for 3 to 5 secs and you will see your led on you remote flash. Alright. Thats the low down if that doesnt spell it clearly enough buy a manual.................

You have to set each remote independently.

Think of it like this....the button sequence programs that little fob....not the car.
