im thinking of replacing the factory muffler on my 2.3 (the small pipe with the tip to make it look bigger is kinda gay)

anyway, i was thinking about a magnaflow 14815, does anyone on here have one of these? If so could you post pics? i like the muffler and it looks fairly close to OEM (trying not to get that ricey look) it says on the magnaflow website that it has 7 inch tips, and im afraid thats way to long. I would like to see a side shot so i can tell how much the pipes stick out. (ive searched and can only find pics of them from the rear)

and how much would just putting this muffler on the stock piping change the sound of the exaust? would it make a higher or lower note?

the ones that you were looking at are a half inch smaller.. each opening.. so your going to have to deal with it

DTM style is the way to go.

Just go custom. Get a Dynomax muffler which is not too loud and get your own custom tips. You can make it look factory if you want. Any good muffler shop will do this for you.

 

i have a 3.5" tip.. i like it alot.. not so loud.. yet pretty aggressive..
