Muffler ?s

Looking at getting a new muffler. What is the inlet size for a 98 3.0? Any suggestions on brand, I want dual angled square tip that is not overpoweringly loud.
Thanks for all of your help

I thought about the duel angeled muffler also but I ended up with a Ractive $259+tax installed. It has a deep sound and is pretty quite while at a constant speed. Take a look. Tell me what you think. http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/o1fastsum...src=ph&.view=t

Very nice.....

It's a clean design....not gaudy like the coffee-can ones. I like the rolled lips of the tail pipes.

Is that a universal variant, or is it make and model specific?

I realy like the way yours looks, and I will probably go with a ractive too. Just got 8 inches of snow in charlotte, NC so I have to wait to post pics. All I did was get some chrome pin striping from Pep Boys and cover the grill. I know its not the best way to do it, but it only cost like $2 and the effect is what I wanted. I want to replace the acura emblem on the grill with the one like you have. Where did you get it and how did you install it?
Tahnks

My Ractive is universal Stainless Steel. They had a couple of versions. One round and the one I chose. I just went to a guy that was recomened in town. You might find it cheaper it was my birthday and was a impulse purchase. On the grill I just removed the chrome "A" taped it and painted it with spray touch-up paint.

How large is the tip on your muffler? I don't want it so big that it doesn't fit in the opening under the bumper. I also have a few questions about installing a camber kit, if you have any experience in that it wold be great.
Thanks
Dave
