muffler question

muffler question

hi i got a 98 cl 3.0... i love the sound of the g35 muffler makes... i was just wondering what comes close to the g35 sound?

Dont think I know how to match the sound, but I can give you some tips since no one has replied yet. Go with 2.5 in. custom mandrel bent piping and find the muffler of choice or you can get a 94-97 accord catback system and that should work fine also. Good luck.

i don't think there is an exhaust that will match up to that = /
well you can get a custom pipe like how clover stated = ) good choice
i did that . . .

its gonna be pretty damn hard to get your car to sound like a g35. Not worth trying IMO

and what does the term mandrel pippin' means?

so ur sayin' get a mufflr. and install new pippin'?

or is the best choice to get a full catback exhst. .....such as greddy

or apex'i

on the 94-97 accord catback system does it have to be either a 4 or 6 banger?

the engine is just as much a part of the sound as the muffler/ piping is...

it should be a 4 cyl if youre a 4 cyl and a v6 for a v6

To have a nice "factory" sound, just get bigger piping, bigger straight through perforated resonator and keep the stock muffler.
