Muffler help

I have a 98 cl 2.3 prem and my car is LOUD i need to replace some part of the exhaust....my factory muffler still looks good...can i keep it with a new ehaust system and how?

what other engine modifications have been done..?

Sounds like the resonator is missing

yes it might be the resonator. i got mine taken out and got 2.75 inch custom piping done and its loud as hell
