mp3 player in car

i want to hook up my mp3 player into my car. my current setup is what came with the car, stock bose cd player (not a changer, only a single disc player), no tape deck, normal speakers. can someone point me in the right direction of what product to buy to run a wire into my stereo system that i can plug my mp3 player into (into its headphone jack)?

headphone jack as output on the mp3 player, going into the aux input on my car's cd player. this is done all the time.

THere are no aux inputs. You have to modulate it or nothing.

My Pioneer head unit had an P-Bus thing for changers and whatnot, and you could buy an adapter that would change it to RCA input, then I just got the RCA to headphone cord, and it's golden! So I guess the advice is to get a new headunit or you're stuck with the cruddy sounding FM thing...
