mp3 player
mp3 player
i'm thinking of getting an mp3 player and connecting it to my stock stereo...any suggestions/tips about doing this? also, where have you placed the mp3 player? in the slot under the stereo? or in the console area? i think it'd be cool to rig something up around the cupholder...any thoughts?
check out www.ssiamerica.com. I've got a neo installed in my '03 cls now and once in a previous car and it works perfect!
i recently put a panasonic 683u mp3 player in my car and it flushes really well into the factory spot w/out having to buy an installation kit...
wasn't too hard to custom, got to keep my flap-down door, and it's fairly secure...

I hooked my ipod up to my Alpine stereo. Really easy job and it works great. Now I'm just trying to make it look better instead of having wires coming out of my dash to plug it in.

I got it at my local alpine dealer. It's basically an adapter that goes from the Ainet aux input and converts it to a pair of rca cables. You will also need something to change the rca to a stereo/midi plug that will fit in the headphone jack of the mp3 player. You can get that at Radio Shack. Total cost around $30.
