Does anybody know what the max with of the rim can be on a CL without rubbing. I have a 97 2.2. I wanted to go with 18x8.

 

Not sure if 8" width will fit, I guess it kinda depends on the offset of the wheel and how low your car is.
I have 18x7.5 on my CL with +45mm offset and
if I were any lower I think my tires would rub on the inside of my fenders.
Call tirerack or victoriatire they should be able to tell you what will fit.
If I remember right I think tirerack claims an 18x8 will fit with proper offset.

I am thinking ADR enigmas. Here is a CL-S with them on. http://www.ginash.f2s.com/mycl.html I wanted to go thick. I am thinking those or a 7-5 spoke rim in a gunmetal. I want to go sport luxury so I plan to modify a Accord kit and slap some accord side skirts as much as I do not like accords that is my only option as of know.

Did you find out what the proper offset is to get an 18x8 to fit? If so let me know what it is.
