Manual Differential Oil Replacement?

I tried reading the freakin manual but it doesnt tell me much...I also tried searching the old posts and nothing.

How do we replace the differential fluid on the 97 2.2 manual transmission? I just replaced my drive axles and some of the fluid leaked out. There are also two drail/fill nuts on the differential. Where can i find the procedure to do this job? And what weight oil does our tranny accept?
thanks

Put in Honda Manual Transmission Fluid or GM/Penziol Synchromesh.

To drain, un-do the bottom bolt that has a 3/8th" recessed square type head. Replace and tighten.
To fill, un-do the upper most bold (14mm or 17mm i believe) and put in fluid. You might need a hand type pump or a funner with a long skinny tube running from the engine bay to pill. It holds 2 qts.

just get the honda stuff. it's specially formulated for honda transmissions. anything else will likely jack it up.

Many People have used the GM/Penziol stuff and had no problems or its been better than the Honda Brand MTF.

Megaman: Its doesnt say a weight on the bottles of the Honda or GM/Penziol brand!

This is what the bottle looks like:

Part Number: 08798-9016
Price: $6.76 from Tampa Hondaland, price might be a lil different depending on the dealer.

no no no no. Get GM Syncro Mesh with FM ( friction modifier ) Its much smoother than Honda's oil, which is ...short from 1 additive..10w30 ).........go with GMs oil.
