Making a Lower Grill?????'s

does anyone know how to make a grill for the lower part of our cars. I made one for the regular grill but i'm not sure on the other open area. I've seen it done and I'm wondering if anyone can help? Does the bumper need to come off or should I cut the plastic out?
thanks

i would cut them out, but maybe leave a few of them for framing the new grille. trust me, you dont want to take off the bumper!

Hi...I didn't cut any of the the plastic out...I cut the mesh and put a door trim all around it and put in there with some of those strips that I don't know how you call it but they are made out of plastic. It worked really good...I made one for my friend's Prelude and It came out good...I don't have any pics of how I did it and how it looks....The strips are like those that you use to hold the wires together....I pulled the grille with that and put the strips around the plastic things that are there.....I don't know how to explain it....Hope that gives you a hint...

Im pretty sure some one did a post with detailed instructions on how to do the bottom so you might want to do a quick search. I dont think he cut any stock plastic parts either which i really wouldnt want to do in case you want to get rid of the mesh grill but thats just me good luck
