ok .. so i noticed the other day that the Maintenance Required light thing is now orange. i thought it used to be green. i recently passed 75k in miles, so i'm thinking its an internal thing that automatically changes.

my question is ... how do i get it back to green w/o going to the dealership???

 

put your key in the slot beside it. i think it's just a reminder for an oil change or some small maintenance.

 

yeah I think it says in the manual that it comes on every 12k interval just as a reminder for a check up. you can reset it by turning a key in the little slot beside it.

 

it changes every 3k, from green to yellow to red.
yeah the slot right next to the zero on your speedo takes a key to reset.

Just your regular ignition key, or basically any key that would fit in that slot next to the maintanence light.
