My maintenance required thingy turned orange yesterday. Anyone know what will make it change color?

Ya, it changes color by mileage as a reminder to take your car in for service. Want it to turn green again, just stick your ignition key in that little black slot right next to it, or right above it, I forget exactly where.

Sticking the key in the slot by the light will turn the light green agin. The light is to remind you to change the oil and filter so you might want to do that then reset the light.

Last time I checked it was set by Acura to turn colors at every 35,000 miles. The first time it turned for me (if I can remember) was almost right on 35k

Sweet, thanks a lot guys, it changed right after I changed the oil & filter, so I was hoping that's all it was, as I'm leaving now for a 4000 mile road trip... NJ to Dallas, to Austin, to Orlando, to NJ.

 

every 7500k it will change. it to tell u ur reg tune up is about do. look in the back of ur manual. its 7500k intervals im pretty sure.
