im looking to get a new muffler and i see a bunch of magnaflow race mufflers and street mufflers on ebay. which do you guys think sounds better on our cars??? I really dont know which to pick. Thanks

I have the OBX-R muffler, and I actually like the sound, but I hate the way it looks... Mine's on stock piping, and doesn't do anything for performance, but at least I can hear the car now... If I had the money, I'd have a custom cat-back... I'd just save your money and get a full cat-back

 

which ever muffler i get im getting custom piping for 80 at a local muffler shop.. thats why im asking about what you guys think of looks and sounds cause i havent heard either..

Search. tons of members have sound clips up here. i have a stock resonator with a Megan N1 glasspack. i love the way it sounds.. theres a sound clip in the link in my signature.

 

I really like Magnaflow. They have several different sizes with different inlets and outlets so you can find one that best fits your car. Then have a muffler shop weld up an exhaust that fits it.

 

most overused muffler. hence the name magnahoe.

at WOT, your intake will probably drown out your exhaust anyways.

it's impossible to predict what sounds best, only you will know what you like. either search or try something it out. if you dont like, change it. exhaust is like anything else.

 

Get a magnaflow and call it a day
