Magnaflow the exhaust? It is only illegal if they are higher than the sound level restrictions.

It will be loud. Depending on how strict the police are on modified cars, Id keep the resonator.

I dunno what the legal db limit is but u can find out from the dmv.

resonator definitely helps bring volume down.. get a 22'' for maximum sound control.

you'll still hear it, but not as loud. I ran resonator less for a while and it was just so crazy.

If you need anything cut and welded, it looks to be about 30$ a cut, thats retail.

If you have a cat-back.. easy DYI.

norcal, you sound a little fucked up tonight. lol but seriously installing an exhaust isnt that hard. i did myself with a few buddies and the hardest part was the 3 bolts connecting the exhaust and the cat.

Haha, those three bolts were hard! Nothing a hammer drill didnt break.

Cat-back = exhaust from the catalytic convertor on back.

i gaurentee he is. nothing wrong with underage drinking. if i lived in the 70's right now, i would be legal, so its all good. ive had an open house all week. tonight was actually the first night ive had some peace and quiet. so ive just been drinking my Polish beer and cheap natural light beer since ive gotten out of work.

but seriously, you'll regret not doing your own exhaust yourself. its just the 3 bolts that you have to worry about. other than that if you get a bolt on cat-back its easy as shit

i understand it's a simple job to do the exhaust yourself but i was also wondering how much the piping would cost from a muffler shop.

Piping? Sounds like you have an axel-back.

No need to buy piping.

the decible level over here (i believe) is 92db... anything louder is illegal.... i have also gotten a ticket (even tho the exhaust tone isnt loud at all) just for changing the exhaust... the cop told me that, any modification done to the exhaust system is illegal... so i lose anyway you look at it

My exhaust is loud but it's not annoyingly loud. What about muscle cars that drive on the road? What about those trucks that are loud as fuck. Why is it that we get pulled over?
